Event Manager connects to external messaging platforms through the Chat SDK -- a unified adapter layer that normalizes message handling across providers. Each organization can enable multiple platforms simultaneously, and the AI Assistant pipeline (message processing, tool calls, streaming replies) works identically regardless of which platform delivered the message.
