How to navigate between pages and use the header dock, sidebar, and keyboard shortcuts
Event Manager uses a persistent header dock and a resizable chat sidebar as its primary navigation elements. Every page shares the same header, so switching between features is always one click away.
Header Dock
The header dock is a sticky bar at the top of every page. On the Home (calendar) page it displays a three-column layout:
- Left -- Location/time widget and arrow buttons for navigating forward and backward in time
- Center -- Date button showing the current period and a badge with the visible event count
- Right -- Page links (Documents, Dashboard, Docs) and the settings gear icon
On non-calendar pages the dock simplifies to show a Calendar link, page links, and the settings icon centered in the bar.
Page Links
Icon buttons in the dock link to the main pages. Each button hides itself when you are already on that page. The available links are:
- Calendar -- Home page with the calendar view
- Documents -- TLDraw canvas (visible to admin users only)
- Dashboard -- Analytics tabs
