Settings Dock Overview

Access per-page view preferences, language, theme, and vacation settings through the gear icon popover.

The Settings Dock is a popover panel you open by clicking the gear icon in the page header. It provides quick access to personal preferences that apply to your current session without affecting other users.

You click the gear icon button to open the settings panel. The icon rotates 90 degrees when the popover is active, giving you a clear visual indicator. Clicking again or clicking outside the popover closes it with an exit animation.

Layout

The popover has a maximum height of 600px (or the viewport height minus 3rem, whichever is smaller) and a width of up to 500px. Content scrolls vertically when it overflows. The panel uses a backdrop blur effect for visual depth.
