Load existing documents using the calendar sidebar, data grid, or search bar.
You can load an existing document in three ways: from the calendar sidebar, by clicking a phone cell in the data grid, or by using the search bar. Each method updates the URL with the contact's phone number in E.164 format and loads the corresponding canvas.
Open the calendar page and locate the event for the contact whose document you want to view. Click the event to open the event details in the sidebar panel.
Click the contact's name or the document link in the sidebar. The application navigates to the
documents page with the contact's phoneE164 in the URL.
The canvas loads the document associated with that phone number.
This method is useful when you are reviewing your schedule and want to quickly access a contact's document without leaving the calendar context.
Navigate to the documents page.
In the data grid on the left, locate the row for the contact.
Click the phone number cell in that row. The URL updates with the selected phoneE164 parameter,
and the canvas on the right loads the corresponding document.
This is the most direct way to browse documents. You can scroll through the grid and click any row to load its document.
On the documents page, locate the search bar at the top of the data grid or canvas panel.
Type a contact name or phone number.
Select a matching result from the dropdown. The URL updates with the selected contact's
phoneE164, and the canvas loads the associated document.
Search is particularly useful when you have many contacts and want to jump directly to a specific document without scrolling through the grid.
If you navigate to a contact that does not yet have a document, the canvas displays a lock overlay. This indicates that no document data exists for the selected phone number. To create a document for this contact, follow the steps in the Creating Documents guide.
When a document is loaded, the URL contains the phoneE164 query parameter. You can share this
URL directly with another user to link them to the same document. For example:
/documents?phoneE164=%2B972501234567Bookmark a document URL to return to a specific contact's document later.
